Play your M3U playlists with Supernova

An M3U playlist describes media entries and where to access them. Supernova supports this source format across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV; it does not supply the playlist or its content.

A playlist is a list, not a content subscription

A playlist can reference streams without hosting them. A readable playlist does not guarantee that its entries are reachable, current or authorised for your use.

What to check when an entry does not play

Check that the playlist is current and that the underlying stream is still available. Access restrictions, an expired source or network problems can prevent playback even when the list itself loads.

An M3U URL for your Supernova profile

Supernova’s M3U profile accepts a playlist URL and a profile name. This setup does not import a local file. Saving stores the profile; selecting it checks the source. The setup guide explains the exact steps.

Guide and replay are playlist-dependent

Supernova can use TV guide and replay features depending on the playlist. Choosing M3U alone does not guarantee either feature or create missing source data.
