How to add an M3U playlist
M3U setup uses a profile name and a playlist URL. This workflow does not import a local playlist file.
Download on theApp StoreBefore you start
- Install Supernova on a supported device.
- Have the URL of your compatible M3U playlist and permission to access its streams.
- Make sure the device has a working network connection.
Steps
- Open the add-profile action (“Ajouter un profil” in the French interface). You can change the profile image if you wish.
- Choose the M3U playlist connection type (“Playlist M3U”).
- Enter a name for the profile and the playlist URL supplied by your source.
- Save the profile (“Enregistrer le profil”), then select it to use the source.
Quoted button and field names are from the French interface. The workflow is the same on all four platforms; labels may differ with the app language.
What happens next
Saving stores the profile. Supernova checks the source when you select that profile, not when you save it. Successful access lets you use the content available from your source.
If the source does not open
- Recheck the playlist URL, including any required parameters. Do not substitute the source’s website homepage for its playlist URL.
- Check whether the playlist and its streams are still accessible, and whether your network connection works.
- If the problem persists, contact support with the platform and symptom. Do not send a full URL if it contains private access tokens.
Questions and answers
